Product Blunder: uservoice - I need search box!

We use a product called uservoice to manage our user feedbacks for Simplicant.com. Being a successful product, we get a lot of feedback from our customers that helps us improve our product significanlty. 

However a lot of feedback means that there should be a "search" box to search for certain feedback item. Today, I was going through my email and saw a feedback email (notifications sent by uservoice) that I wanted to post an update on (since it's been completed by development team), so I went to uservoice administration panel but there is no search box ! There is a seperate link to goto search page where I can search these ideas. Why make user do extra clicks and goto another page ? Why not have a box right on the ideas page ? 

Handy search box is such a basic part of each product, not sure why they left it out !

 While we (me & my products team) are far from perfect at product management, we still find a lot of issues with other products that we use on daily business to manage different aspect of our businesses. So I have decided to start a blog post series where I will chronicle these small (or big at times) issues in these products and highlight how it effects user experience.
